The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) received a 2008 Presidential Award for Leadership in Energy Management with help from Ameresco. A multi-year, $23 million ESPC delivered significant energy savings and improvements at two NARA facilities while preserving the archival storage of important United States historical documents.
