Ameresco Awarded Share of $355M Government Repair Contract

AmerescoSolutions, Inc., the Charlotte-based federal operating unit of Ameresco, Inc., has been contracted to provide quick response services for facility repair, renovation, conversion, construction, and maintenance services for government installations and facilities worldwide. AmerescoSolutions is one of six companies selected to participate in the Facility Repair and Renewal contract which has a total value of $355 million per year with options to renew for an additional four years.

Under the contract awarded by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, AmerescoSolutions will survey problem areas, evaluate and recommend solutions, and develop and implement work plans to meet the needs of government installations in multiple functional areas including architectural, civil, electrical, environmental, mechanical, structural, systems, cost, and safety.

The contract applies to various Department of Defense installations and facilities in the United States and overseas, the National Guard, certain federal agencies, and state and local governments on a case specific basis. The U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville, Alabama, will administer the contract.

AmerescoSolutions, the former DukeSolutions subsidiary of Duke Energy, currently provides comprehensive energy efficiency services to federal facilities throughout the United States as part of seven Energy Service Performance Contracts (ESPC) with the Department of the Army and Department of Energy valued at $1.2 billion.
